The Working Class Hero will most likely be the last denim jacket you’ll ever buy. It will be found in vintage stores in the next century, or worn by your grandchildren after they’ve gone through your wardrobe. The jacket is made from raw selvedge heavyweight Japanese denim at a full 20.5 oz, and will feel stiff and rigid at first, but over time it will mold to your body and develop strong contrast fades. Designed in Bergen, Norway, produced by Kuroki Co. Ltd in Japan, and sewn together by Lisama in Portugal.

Washing: Sanforized, but unwashed, so expect 2 to 5% shrinkage after the first wash. We recommend a delicate cycle at 30°C with low or no spin. Higher temperatures may increase shrinkage. Do not tumble dry.
Some customers prefer to pre-soak raw denim before use to soften up the fabric, and get rid of the shrinkage. Expect 2-3 cm shrinkage in length and about 1 cm in sleeve length. You can soak your jacket in a bathtube for an hour in lukewarm water or do the delicate spin as described above.
We advise to choose your normal size and also have in mind the 2 to 5 % shrinkage in length and in sleeve length with 30% degrees wash. Warmer wash can increase shrinkage. Small variations may occur.
Gisle is 186 cm and wears a size XL, Morten is 175 cm and wears a L.
